Dr. Mahmut Öztürk

At Medicana Ataköy Clinic, Dr Mahmut Öztürk treats ophthalmological diseases, a field in which he has over 35 years of experience.

Dr Öztürk is a 1982 graduate of Istanbul University. He specialised in ophthalmology at Şişli Etfal Teaching and Research Hospital. Since then he has worked and trained at many institutions, including:

• Cambridge University Eye Hospital, 1989-1990.
• GATA Faculty of Medicine, 1991-1992.
• Faculty of Medicine, Antwerp Eye Clinic, 1993.
• Eye Clinic of the Shishli Etfal Teaching and Research Hospital, 1993-2004.
• Ataköy branch of the World Eye Hospital, 2004-2023.
• The doctor is a member of the Turkish Medical Association and the Turkish Ophthalmological Society.

In addition to his main professional employment, he also takes an active part in scientific activities and the development of the field of ophthalmology. In particular, the doctor has authored more than 45 publications in national and international medical journals.
