Dr. Bucio graduated México University U.N.A.M, following a residency at México City’s General Hospital. He completed a course in microsurgery at the Davies Medical Center in San Francisco, California, USA.
In 1985, he lost four fingers on his dominant hand due to an earthquake. Nevertheless, this he didn’t let this accident stop him from pursuing his life dedication, and following reconstructive surgery, he returned to medical practice. This is a token to both the capabilities of modern reconstructive surgery and Dr Bucio’s dedication.
