Dr. Ergin Er

A plastic surgeon at the Istanbul Aesthetic Clinic.

In 1992, he graduated from Gulhane Military Medical Academy in Ankara. After that he studied microsurgery, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery in the USA.

Dr. Er is certified by ECFMG, ISHRS, AACS and AALS.

He has written over 14 publications in scientific journals.

He is a member of organizations:

• European Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ESHRS);
• American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS);
• American Society of Liposuction Surgery (AALS).

Doctor’s awards:

• 2000 – 1st prize in Research Competition of Turkish Society of Surgeons;
• 2000 – 1st prize in Research Competition of Hacettepe University;
• 2001 – 1st prize in Research Competition of Turkish Society of Plastic Surgeons;
• 2002 – Super Achievement Award, Gülhane Military Medical Academy and Health Command;
• 2002 – Scientific research support grant of Turkish Armed forces : TGF-1 gene therapy for cranial bone healing;
• 2002 – Scientific research support grant of Turkish Armed forces : TGF-1 gene therapy for local immunosupression in lower extremity transplantation;
• 2004 – Lead researcher research award and grant ISHRS;

Specialization: plastic and reconstructive microsurgery.
