About the doctor
Director of the Radiotherapy Department of the Athens Medical Center. She was educated at the Kapodistria State University of Athens. She specialized in clinical oncology and radiotherapy at the Royal Marsden NHS Trust in London, where she continued as a senior resident and as a result, became the leading oncologist. She worked as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Cancer Research in London. She then led the research team for thyroid cancer at Royal Marsden NHS Trust. She was the Head of the Clinical Oncology Department at Interbalkan Hospital in Greece. Since 2002 she has headed the Department of Radiotherapy at the Athens Medical Center.
