Dr. Alexandra Ambrosetti

Alexandra Ambrosetti obtained her medical degree from the University of Geneva in 1996, and was awarded the title of specialist in assisted reproductive technologies in the field of gynaecology and obstetrics in 2005. For four years, she worked as head of the clinic for surgical gynaecology, then gynaecological oncology and breast surgery at the CHUV (Lausanne University Hospital Centre), and subsequently at the HUG (Geneva University Hospital). From 2006, she served as coordinator of the French Community on Cancer and Fertility.

Her interest in reproductive medicine and surgical gynaecology, as well as her scientific curiosity, led her to continue her training in reproductive medicine and endocrinological gynaecology at the Lausanne University Hospital Centre, and subsequently at the Cochin Hospital in Paris. As a result, she obtained an FMH diploma with an advanced specialisation in reproductive medicine.
