Leading urologist at the Teknon Clinic. He specialises in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of benign and malignant tumours of the prostate, bladder and kidneys. He is a leading specialist in the field of laparoscopic surgery for urological conditions. He utilises innovative surgical techniques via the body’s natural orifices. In 2009, under his guidance, the first transvaginal removal of a kidney tumour was performed. Before joining Teknon, he worked as head of the kidney transplant department at the Fundació Puigvert. He has performed over 100 kidney transplants from living donors. At Teknon, Antonio Alcaraz also performs urological surgery using the da Vinci Robot. The renowned surgeon takes part in joint surgical procedures in Germany, France and Italy.
