Clinic Review
The Private Clinic Lasnitzhöhe is Austria’s leading rehabilitation centre, which was founded in 1990. It is part of the SANLAS medical holding company.
The hospital specialises in the recovery of patients after musculoskeletal surgery, strokes, neurological and orthopaedic diseases, as well as back and brain injuries. The high quality of medical services at Lasnitzhöhe is confirmed by the ISO 9001:2008 certification.
The main focus of the medical centre is robotic rehabilitation. The G-EO System is the only robotic simulator in the country, a unique development by Austrian scientists, designed to restore the functions of the spine and musculoskeletal system. This equipment enables patients to keep their balance and regain walking skills as quickly as possible.
Special attention is paid to the rehabilitation of patients after joint implants, torn ligaments and severe spinal fractures.
Private Clinic Lasnitzhöhe provides highly qualified care for people who have diseases of the peripheral nervous system (polyneuritis, radiculitis, funiculitis, plexitis, mononeuritis) or suffer from inflammatory diseases (e.g. encephalitis). The medical centre also offers effective psychiatric rehabilitation, in particular – the treatment of depression.
At Lasnitzhöhe Hospital there is a special therapeutic studio, which provides rehabilitation for patients with various hand and arm pathologies. The studio is equipped with the latest generation of Tyromotion robotic systems and computer equipment. These devices consist of monitors connected to special manipulators. They reproduce different exercises for arm training in a game-like manner. This kind of equipment allows functional disorders of the limbs to be quickly corrected and the patient to return to a normal lifestyle.
