The University Clinic of Krakow is a multi specialty medical institution in Poland, which receives more than 75,000 inpatient and over 380,000 outpatients annually.
The Clinic was found back in 1778, then known as the General Hospital of Saint Lazarus.

The laboratory of the clinic, scheduled examinations of patients with an established pacemaker and procedures for radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFA) are carried out. These procedures are aimed at eliminating arrhythmia by introducing a thin flexible catheter through a blood vessel to the site of cardiac arrhythmia. A radio-frequency pulse is triggered on the catheter, and it destroys the pathological rhythm.
Annually in the department of cardiovascular diseases of the clinic of Krakow, doctors conduct about 200 procedures of radiofrequency ablation, installation of 250 pacemakers and receive more than 3,000 outpatients.
The Center of Hematology became the first medical center in Poland specializing in the treatment of malignant and benign blood diseases. The department was opened in 1950, headed by Associate Professor Julian Alexandrovich.
