The Meir Hospital is Israel's largest general hospital. It was founded in 1956. Meir hospital is a benchmark for modern medicine. CANCER TREATMENT AT MEIR HOSPITAL
The Meir Clinic treats cancer in a specialised unit called the Institute of Oncology. Here, innovative therapies for malignant tumours are developed and implemented, as well as the latest generation of drugs that can successfully fight different types of cancer. The Institute of Oncology at Meir Medical Centre consists of the following units:

THE INSTITUTE OF ORTHOPAEDICS AT MEIR MEDICAL CENTRE
The Meir Hospital's Orthopaedic Institute is one of the best specialist hospitals in Israel. More than 3,500 surgeries are performed here each year, of which around 500 are joint replacement procedures.
Doctors in this department provide medical services such as joint endoprosthetics and arthroscopy, pseudo-arthrosis treatment, shoulder replacement, conservative musculoskeletal therapy and sports medicine.

The clinic is located in the town of Kfar Saba, which is in the heart of the country. The clinic can be reached from Tel Aviv airports (Ben Gurion and Sde Dov) by any means of public transport. Bus stops in the vicinity of the hospital are Bus 32 (Egen Green Bus which passes through Ra'anana, Hercilia and Ramat Asharon) and Bus 568 (Metropolitan Blue Bus which terminates at the New Central Bus Station). The bus stops for buses 39 and 29 (go to the Mediterranean coast, Herzliya town) are a couple of hundred meters away from the Meir Hospital, as is bus 149 (which passes through the Central Railway Station of Tel Aviv).
